Found this gopher snake on my front porch this Easter Sunday. I grabbed it and took some photos of him. He tried to bite me a few times. Gopher snakes aren't venemous, but they will still bite you. They are interesting because they'll mimic rattlesnakes by shaking their tails and hissing. This guy was hissing a lot. After I took some photos I released him into the garden out back so he could eat some gophers.
